One of Llangollen's home locomotives lets out steam as it sets off from Berwyn with the 13.08 for Corwen. My initial thought was that it was a pity that the rostered engine (according to th'internet), a visiting Hawksworth Pannier 1501, was not out but after a trip to the station buffet, a ride down to Glyndyfrdwy and a walk back to Llangollen along the Dee valley my thoughts were about how lucky I am to be able to have a day out like this.
