Embsay & Bolton Abbey Steam Railway

The age of steam

Uploader's Comments

A steam train arriving at Bolton Abbey in Wharfedale, North Yorkshire. The steam engine was built at Swindon in 1925 and ran on the Great Western railway.
The Station opened in 1998 after being restored by volunteers in the original Midland Railway style of the 1800’s.
