Had a lovely day out today with my dad, visiting the grand Bo’ness & Kinneil Railway and Museum of Scottish Railways, which is in Bo'ness, right by the banks of the mighty Firth of Forth. One side of it is a museum to explore, the other half of it is a working station and line, with regular excursions with the steam loco and also the early DMU (Diesel Multiple Unit). The steam excursion also includes carriages serving high tea (for non Brits that's a sort of mid afternoon thing involving tea, sandwiches and cakes) as you steam along, a rather lovely way to take high tea). Great way to spend a warm spring day
