Snaefell Mountain Railway

29.07.17 Bungalow No.1

Uploader's Comments

Taken from Snaefell Summit looking towards Bungalow which is the only intermediate station on the Snaefell Mountain Railway. The train in view approaching Bungalow is no.1 on the 15:10 Snaefell Summit to Laxey on 29 July 2017. The main road is Mountain Road (A18) which takes most of the road traffic between Douglas and Ramsey. However, other than a few dated school day only bus services, road public transport links between the two largest towns on the Isle of Man take the coastal routes either via Laxey or the long way round via Peel on the western coast.

Douglas Bay can be seen in the background. By no means the clearest of days, the tram conductor on the journey up to Snaefell was proud to announce it was the "best day for weather for a whole week".
