No trip to Wales can be complete without a good steam engine, so we went to the Gwili Railway near Camarthan. Our train was to be Welsh Guardsman, an engine built in 1944. After war time use, it spent many years working for the National Coal Board. Now it's (intriguingly) owned by the Felinfoel Brewery, and runs at the Gwili Railway.
